Three extra practice tasks

Written for this theme, no printing needed. Use them as fillers, homework ideas or a second lesson.

  1. 1. Name chain

Sit in a circle. Each child repeats the names before them and adds their own. Help with he's / she's.

    Model languageShe's Ana. He's Tom. I'm Leo!

  2. 2. Guess the voice

One child hides behind the board and says 'Hello!' in a funny voice. The class asks 'Are you…?' until they guess.

  3. 3. Find three friends

Each child draws three boxes. They walk round, ask three classmates their name and write or draw it in a box.

Model languageHi! What's your name? — I'm Sam. — Nice to meet you, Sam!
