Privacy, in plain words

The short version: nothing here requires an account, nothing a child does in a game is sent anywhere, and your class lists live in your browser — not on our servers.

Last updated: 29 August 2026

What we do not collect

You can use every game, printable, tool and article without creating an account or telling us who you are. We do not ask children for names, emails, photos, voice or anything else — and the games are built so they never need to.

When a game shows your students' names (the name wheel, team sorter, scoreboards), those names come from a list you typed on your own device. They are stored in your browser's local storage and are never transmitted to us.

What stays on your device

Preferences (language, sound, favourites), saved class lists, game settings and lesson-room drafts are kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data removes them. We cannot see them, and neither can other visitors.

Lesson rooms and custom word sets are encoded directly into the link you share — the room is the URL. Nothing about it is stored on a server.

Analytics

We measure traffic with Vercel Web Analytics — cookieless, aggregate counts of page views and countries. It does not identify visitors, does not follow anyone across the web, and sets no advertising trackers. There are no ads on this site.

Embedded games on other sites

When a school or blog embeds one of our games, the embedded page runs with the same rules as the site itself: no accounts, no tracking of the children who play, the same aggregate analytics only.

Community submissions

If you send us a word list for the community shelf, we publish it with the display name you choose (first name or a nickname is fine) and review it before it appears. Send lists you have the right to share.

Children

This site is made for teachers and parents of children aged roughly 3–11, and it is designed so that no personal information from children is collected or required at any point. If you believe a child has somehow sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Questions

This page is written by a person, not generated by a lawyer, and we will answer questions about it the same way.
