🔒 Privacy, summarised for review
- No account is required for any feature a student touches; students are never asked to sign in, and no personal information from children is collected or required.
- Class name lists a teacher types are stored in the teacher's own browser (local storage) and are never transmitted to our servers.
- Traffic is measured with cookieless, aggregate analytics (page counts and countries). No advertising trackers, no ads, no sale of data.
- Lesson rooms and custom word sets are encoded in the URL itself — nothing about a class is stored server-side.
⚙️ Technical facts
- Works in any modern browser on any device — nothing to install or maintain.
- Installable as a PWA; games a teacher has opened keep working if the school connection drops.
- Every game and most tools can be embedded on a school site or LMS with one line of HTML — see the embed page.
- No third-party ad scripts. Fonts and assets are served from the site itself.
🧸 Content standards
- All vocabulary, dialogues and game texts are written to be kid-safe by design: familiar, concrete words; nothing scary or mean-spirited; no content about money worries, religion or bodies beyond "my head hurts" in a doctor role-play that ends well.
- Community-submitted word lists are reviewed by a person before they are published.
The full details live on the privacy and terms pages. Questions from a review process are answered by email, usually within a school day.
