How to use a list in class

  1. Before the lesson, choose ten words at the right level and play them with the audio button.
  2. In class, pairs run the flashcards: one student reads the definition, the other says the word.
  3. Check with matching and gap-fill on the board, or print the worksheet for homework.
  4. Finish with the “Use it” speaking task, so every word is said at least once in context.

Then speak

Put the words to work in a full speaking lesson: discussion questions at B1–C1 or a real-life role-play.
