Would you rather? Picture questions
Free · no ads · no accounts
“Would you rather be a lion or a monkey?” is the question that gets the quiet ones talking: there is no wrong answer, and everyone has an opinion. Pick a topic, put two big pictures on the board, count the hands, then ask the best question of all — why? For three- to five-year-olds, switch to This or that: one tap on a picture, and a model sentence to say back.

How teachers use it
- Warm-up: one pair on the board, hands up, then two children explain their choice with “because”.
- Topic review: after a unit on food or animals, pick that pack and every question recycles its words.
- Little ones: in This or that a child taps a picture and the whole class says “I like cats.” together.
Questions teachers ask
Where do the questions come from?
From the site's picture word bank — the same words as the flashcards and games — put into a frame that fits each topic: be an animal, eat a food, play a sport, wear a colour. Both pictures always come from the same topic, so the question always makes sense.
Does it keep the votes?
No. The tally lives on the screen for the pair you are on and clears when you move to the next one. Nothing is sent anywhere; the page only remembers your mode and topic on this device.
Can I print the cards?
Yes. “Print cards” opens a sheet with the chosen topic's pairs, or one pair from every topic, each with its two pictures and the question. Cut along the dashed lines and use them for pair work or a speaking corner.
