Three extra practice tasks

Written for this theme, no printing needed. Use them as fillers, homework ideas or a second lesson.

  1. 1. Dream house tour

Children draw a dream house with one crazy room, then give a partner a tour.

Model languageThis is my house. There's a pool in the kitchen!

  2. 2. Picture dictation

Dictate a room: 'There's a bed. There's a cat on the bed. There are two lamps.' Children draw, then compare.

Model languageThere's a ball under the table and a clock on the wall.

  3. 3. Spot the difference

Pairs each draw the same room from your outline, adding three different things, then find the differences by talking only.

Model languageIn my picture there's a plant next to the sofa. — In my picture there isn't!
