Vocabulary poster maker
Free · no account
The whole list on one page, big enough to point at from across a room: a picture, the English word, and the translation underneath it.
Tape it up on Monday and it does quiet work all week — the child who forgot a word looks up instead of putting a hand up, which is usually the faster route back into the lesson.
Free, no account, and nothing is stored.
📄 What you get
- The whole list on a single A4 page
- A picture, the word and the translation for each
- Sized to stay readable from the back of a room
🪜 How it works
- 1
Type your words — ten to sixteen keeps them large.
- 2
Choose Poster, and the grid sizes itself to fit.
- 3
Print it, and put it where the children can see it sitting down.
🗂️ Or start from a ready pack
Not in the mood to type? These come with words already in them.
💬 Questions
Can I print it bigger than A4?
The sheet is drawn as a vector PDF, so scaling it to A3 in your printer's settings loses no sharpness at all. Choose A3 and "fit to page" and it fills the larger sheet cleanly.
Should the translation be on it?
For the first weeks of a topic, yes — a poster nobody can read is decoration. Once the words are secure, make a second one without translations and swap it up; the gap is what makes them retrieve rather than read.
