How to use it in class

  1. Hang it where you teach. Next to the board at the children's eye level, not at the back of the room — you'll point at it all lesson. Most photocopiers enlarge A4 to A3 at 141%.

  2. Point and say, then just point. Early in the unit, point at a picture and say the word. By the end, point in silence and let the class say it. Fast pointing in random order makes a two-minute warm-up.

  3. Sticky-note quiz. Before the lesson, cover three pictures with sticky notes. At the end, the children guess what is hiding under each one, then a volunteer peels it off to check.
