Station rotation timer

Free · no ads · no accounts

Centres work beautifully until you become the timer: reading corner, writing table, game mat — and you, glancing at your watch and shouting “rotate!” over the noise. Give the job away. Name each station, give it its own minutes, and press start once. The screen shows where everyone is, a gentle whoosh announces every move, and the plan itself lives in a link you can bookmark for next Monday.

💡 How teachers use it

  • 🌼Run three reading centres without once looking at your watch.
  • 🌼Set a short station for the fast task and a long one for the craft — they don't have to match.
  • 🌼Bookmark the share link as “Monday centres” and the plan opens ready next week.

Questions teachers ask

Do all the stations have to be the same length?

No — every station has its own minutes. A five-minute warm-up table next to a fifteen-minute craft station is exactly what the tool is for, and the total is added up for you underneath.

How do the children know it is time to move?

The station's name fills the screen and a soft whoosh plays at every change, with a little fanfare at the very end. Browsers only allow sound after you have clicked the page once, so press start yourself and the rest follows.

Can I send the plan to another teacher?

Yes — the “share this plan” button copies a link that carries the whole rotation inside it: names, minutes, order. Whoever opens it sees your stations already set, with nothing to sign up for.
