Every preschool lesson starts the same way, and that is exactly why it works: what day is it, what is the weather doing, how does everybody feel. The board puts the whole morning message on the screen in English — “Today is Tuesday, March the fourth. It is rainy. I feel happy. It is spring.” — with the same sentence in the child's own language underneath. The date comes from your own computer, so it is right wherever the lesson is, and the season follows the month and the half of the world you teach in.

- 🌼Open every lesson the same way, so the first English of the day is already familiar.
- 🌼Let the child pick the weather tile and say the sentence before you say it.

Where does the date come from?
From the device the board is open on, so a lesson in Lima and a lesson in Almaty each get their own correct date with no server in between. The weekday and month are always written in English — that is the language being taught.
It is summer here in December — can I change that?
Yes. The switch under the board flips to the southern half of the world, and every month maps to the opposite season from then on. You can also tap a season tile directly if the weather has other ideas.
Does it read the message out loud?
Every tile says its sentence when you tap it, and one button reads the whole message from the greeting to the season. It uses the English voice your computer already has, so nothing is downloaded; if there is no voice, the sentences are still there to read.
