How to use it in class
One helper a dayThe Calendar Helper from the jobs chart changes the cards and reads the board aloud; the class echoes each sentence.
Same order, every morningDay, date, weather, feelings, season, plan — always in that order, so even the children who can't read yet join in from memory.
Feelings without pressureChildren can point instead of speaking, and “I feel tired.” is as good an answer as “I feel happy.”
Velcro and an envelopeLaminate the board, put a Velcro dot in every box and keep the cards in an envelope taped underneath.
