How to use it in class

  1. Choose the rules togetherRead the twelve rule cards with the class and vote for four or five. Rules children picked are rules they remember.

  2. Give every rule a gestureA hand behind the ear for “We listen.”, a finger on the lips for “We use quiet voices.” — then point at the card instead of repeating yourself.

  3. Phrases at eye levelHang the phrases poster where the children sit, not above the board: a child who can see “Can I have a pencil, please?” will use it.
