Three extra practice tasks
Written for this theme, no printing needed. Use them as fillers, homework ideas or a second lesson.
1. Hobby pitch
Each student has one minute to 'sell' their hobby to the class. The class votes for the one they'd try.
Model language
You should try climbing. It's exciting and you don't need to be strong.
2. Screen-time diary
Students estimate how often they do six activities a week, then compare with a partner using adverbs of frequency.
Model language
I hardly ever read on my phone, but I often watch videos.
3. Club noticeboard
Groups create a poster for a new after-school club: name, when, what you do, who it's for.
Model language
Board Game Club meets every Thursday. Everyone is welcome!
