20 minute classroom timer
Free · no ads · no accounts
A 20-minute countdown, already loaded and waiting for you to press start — the right length for a stage of a project, a test or a whole block of the lesson. The digits are big enough for the back row, the ring empties gently, and a soft chime says when the time is gone.
💡 How teachers use it
- 🌼Five minutes on a warm-up, so the fun part never eats the whole lesson.
- 🌼Two minutes for tidy-up — the ring on the wall does the nagging for you.
- 🌼Three quiet minutes for a shy pair to rehearse before they speak to the class.
❓ Questions teachers ask
Can I change it from 20 minutes?
Yes. The chips under the timer switch it to any length from one minute to a full hour, without leaving the page — the 20-minute setting is only where it starts.
Does it make a sound when the time is up?
Yes — three soft notes, gentle enough for a small room. Browsers only allow sound after you have clicked the page once, so press a button before you leave the timer running.
Can I show it full screen on the projector?
Yes. Tap the ⛶ button in the corner of the timer and it fills the whole screen, digits and all. Press Esc to come back to the page.
Can I open it already set to five minutes?
Yes — every common length has its own page, from one minute to an hour. Bookmark the one you use most and it is ready the second it loads.
