Teacher guide · Star Quest
A team review game for the class screen — with a class pet that hatches while you play.
Open the gameName two to four teams and set sail.
The team whose turn it is taps a spot on the island.
Behind it waits one of six cards: listen, say, spell, remember, act or chat.
They answer out loud and you are the judge — got it, almost, or not yet.
The stars go to the team and fill the egg — clear the island and it hatches.
Surprise cards turn up too — switch Calm mode on and none of them take stars away.
Three ways to play it differently once the class knows the rules.
Switch Calm mode on and the surprise cards stop taking stars away — kinder for the youngest classes.
Each team names a captain to tap the island, and the captain changes every turn, so everybody gets to choose a spot.
Open it with the topic you taught this week, so the cards review exactly those words.
Each one opens Star Quest with that pack already loaded.
