🔁 How to play
Deal every card. Anyone starts: 'I have the cat. Who has the dog?' The child holding the dog answers and asks their own question. The loop ends where it began — time the class and beat yesterday's record.
How to use it in class
Drill the two lines first. Before dealing, practise “I have … Who has …?” with two cards on the board — the whole class, then pairs. The frame is the language point, not just the word.
More children than cards, or fewer? One card per child. With fewer children, some hold two — and listen twice as hard. With more, pairs share a card: one says “I have …”, the other asks “Who has …?”.
Keep an uncut copy. The cards on the sheet are printed in chain order. When the chain stalls, a glance at your copy shows who has the next card — prompt that child, not the whole class.
