Hide the words for games. In the “Print sheet” tab, set “Words on cards” to “Picture only”. With the word printed, readers read it instead of remembering it — keep one labelled set for yourself.

What's missing? Stick six cards on the board and say them together. The children close their eyes while you take one away; whoever names the missing card first comes up and hides the next one.

Slow reveal. Pull a card out of an envelope a little at a time, or flash it for half a second. The children call out guesses in English — even the wrong guesses are speaking practice.
