How to play

  1. Choose a level, from single words up to abstract ideas.

  2. Tap the floating cube.

  3. It turns, and a topic is engraved on the face it lands on.

  4. The class names three, out loud, one after another.

  5. Tap again for the next topic, or print the whole bank for paper.

Variations

Three ways to play it differently once the class knows the rules.

  1. Name five

With an older or stronger class, ask for five things instead of three.

  2. One each

Three children answer one word each — to avoid repeating, everyone has to listen to the others.

  3. On paper

Print the prompt bank and play in pairs at the desks while you walk round and listen.
