Easter classroom games
Easter vocabulary is unusually kind to young learners: eggs, chicks, rabbits, flowers, baskets — short words, drawable pictures, and colours everywhere. It is one of the easiest holidays to teach entirely in English.
Run it alongside the spring pack and the two weeks either side of the holiday plan themselves.

Yes — the pack is eggs, chicks, bunnies, flowers and baskets, which is the spring-and-colours side of the season. Nothing in it requires a belief or a celebration.
What is a good egg-hunt activity for a language class?
Hide the printed flashcards around the room and have children ask for them in English before they may pick them up. The hunt is the reward; the sentence is the price.
Which games work with a mixed-age group?
Bingo and draw it. Both let a four-year-old and a nine-year-old play the same round honestly — one is matching pictures, the other is reading words, and neither notices.
