A ready-to-teach weather & sky lesson built on the five-block structure: land & warm, teach, play, produce, land. Every link below opens with this topic already loaded — the plan runs from one browser tab.
Before the lesson (1 minute)
- Open the weather & sky topic page in a tab — the word wall doubles as your flashcards and pronunciation guide.
- Offline or with a printer: print the flashcards sheet. Two items maximum on the child's desk.
Warm-up (0–3 min)
The fixed opening: wave + name + hello song. Then thirty seconds of topic TPR: "Show me a sun! Now be a moon!" — bodies first, words after.
Teach: six words (3–9 min)
- ☀️ sun (солнце) — show, say, echo in a silly voice, tap the card to hear it.
- 🌙 moon (луна) — show, say, echo in a silly voice, tap the card to hear it.
- ⭐ star (звезда) — show, say, echo in a silly voice, tap the card to hear it.
- 🌧️ rain (дождь) — show, say, echo in a silly voice, tap the card to hear it.
- ❄️ snow (снег) — show, say, echo in a silly voice, tap the card to hear it.
- 💨 wind (ветер) — show, say, echo in a silly voice, tap the card to hear it.
Play (9–17 min)
Main game on today's words — Memory in picture↔word mode (say every card aloud), or Bingo if the child likes hunting. One game played twice beats two games played once.
Produce (17–22 min)
- Personal questions with today's words: "Do YOU like the sun? Which one is big? Which is your favourite?"
- Or spin Name 3 — when the cube lands anywhere near today's theme, watch the recall fireworks.
Land (22–25 min)
- The suitcase: 'What are you taking home?' — each child packs one word.
- A star on the chart, the fixed goodbye song, camera wave.
⭐ Take this with you
Six weather & sky words met seven ways in twenty-five minutes — and next lesson starts by waking these words before adding more. Steal this structure for any topic; the games re-load in one tap.
