🎲 How to play

Deal the tiles. The first player lays any tile; the next must add a tile whose PICTURE matches the open WORD (or whose word matches the open picture). The loop closes when every tile is used.

How to use it in class

  1. One set per three or four. Copy onto card, one sheet per group of three or four, and cut before the lesson — eight-year-olds can cut their own. Keep one sheet uncut: the tiles on it are printed in loop order, so it is your answer key.

  2. Say it as you lay it. Each player says the word aloud as they put a tile down — “cat!” — and the group checks the picture. Laid in silence, it is only a reading exercise.

  3. A solo puzzle for early finishers. One child can build the whole loop alone, and it checks itself: the last tile must join the first. For a second round, press “Reshuffle” and print a new set.
