Teaching alongside Spotlight: a pack-by-module map

First, the plain disclaimers: Spotlight («Английский в фокусе») is a coursebook series published by Prosveshcheniye with Express Publishing. AylaraTalks is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to either publisher, and nothing here reproduces the book's content. What this page maps is THEMES: the book teaches family in module N — here is every free thing this site holds about family.
Why bother? Because a coursebook gives the spine and the school gives the deadline, but neither gives the ten minutes of joy that makes the words stick. That is the slot these packs fill.
The early-primary themes (and their packs)
- Family module → the Family pack: flashcards, bingo and a chant for mum, dad, grandma and the rest.
- School things module → the School pack, plus the classroom-phrases poster for the wall.
- Animals module → Animals and Pets packs; the games-by-topic article lists ten ways to play them.
- Food module → Food, Fruits and Vegetables packs; run the shop role-play from the dialogues shelf.
- Toys and My house modules → Toys and Home packs, each with tracing for the writing lessons.
The verbs and grammar the book expects
By the later primary books the grammar arrives: can, have got, present simple and continuous, then the irregular past. Every one of those has a full lesson page here — pattern, spoken examples, real mistakes with fixes — and an auto-generated printable worksheet. The 60-verb irregular table with its flip trainer covers the verb lists Russian schools drill.
The homework bridge
Where the book's workbook ends, the practice links begin: send a topic home as a QR and the child gets five minutes of listen-tap-stars in the same words the module taught. Parents see the streak diary; you see homework that happened.
⭐ Take this with you
Keep the book — it is the school's spine and not ours to replace. Wrap each module's theme in its matching free pack, hang the phrases poster, send the QR homework, and the coursebook suddenly has a playground attached.
